Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Doctor Referal?
No, we do not need a physician's referral to get started. Anyone can refer themselves or a loved one for services. We will coordinate with your doctor as needed. We are accepting new clients!
Do you take insurance?
We are currently a non-network provider for Tricare West offering courtesy billing. We are out-of-network with all insurance providers, meaning we are private pay only. We are working on this, and hoping to take more insurance plans very soon! A superbill can be provided at the end of each session to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement or to be applied to your deductible.
I am ready to start, what do I do now?
If you are interested in services, give us a call to get started! Before therapy can start, we will schedule an appointment for an evaluation. This is typically a 2-hour appointment where we get an in-depth look at what areas need to be addressed in therapy and develop a plan of care. If intervention is needed, we will get you on the schedule to start therapy.
How does therapy work?
This is a great question! The length and duration of therapy heavily depend on you and your loved ones needs. Therapy sessions are typically held 1-2 times per week for 30 minutes each.
How long does speech therapy take?
All speech and language therapy treatments are designed specifically for the patient after careful screening and evaluation. Every patient is different. Some treatments can take 3-6 months, while others can be much longer depending on the severity of the disorder. Check out this excellent article for more information.
