Therapy practices should
care for therapists too.
We know what burnout feels like. We know how it feels to be overworked, undervalued, and unsupported, and we decided to build the opposite.
Woods Family Speech Therapy was created to be a place where therapists feel supported, appreciated, and inspired to do their best work. We care deeply about our team because we know that happy, fulfilled therapists create better experiences, stronger relationships, and better outcomes for the families we serve.

What it's like to work here.
We're big believers that you can't pour from an empty cup. Our goal is simple: create a place where great therapists can do meaningful work, love what they do, and still have a life outside of it.
You're appreciated, not just employed. You won't be treated like a productivity number or a warm body filling a schedule. We see the heart, creativity, and energy you pour into your work, and we believe people deserve to hear they're doing a great job.
You get flexibility that actually feels flexible. Need more work-life balance? Want to maximize your earning potential? Somewhere in between? We know life isn't one-size-fits-all, and we do our best to help therapists build a schedule and career that works for them.

You're supported, not left to figure it out alone. Questions are encouraged. Collaboration is expected. Whether you're a brand-new clinician or a seasoned therapist, you'll have people in your corner cheering you on, helping you problem-solve, and celebrating wins right alongside you.
You get to build real relationships. The best part of this job isn't paperwork—it's people. We value authentic relationships with families, coworkers, community partners, and the incredible clients we have the privilege of serving.
You get variety and room to grow. Love early intervention? Feeding? Schools? Adults? Teletherapy? Clinic work? We offer opportunities across a variety of settings so you can explore what lights you up and continue growing throughout your career.
We're a team that looks a lot like the communities we serve. One of our favorite things about our team is how different we all are. Our clinicians come from a variety of cultural backgrounds and life experiences, including Spanish-speaking, Punjabi-speaking, and Hmong-speaking team members. Many of us have navigated parenthood, including raising typical and neurodiverse children of our own. Others have walked alongside loved ones through stroke recovery, dementia, and other life altering communication or cognitive challenges. These experiences shape who we are as clinicians. We learn from one another every day, celebrate what makes each of us unique, and believe our diversity—in both culture and lived experience—helps us better connect with and support the amazing families in our communities. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed, understood, and represented.
And yes, we like to have fun. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. Expect laughter, celebrations, inside jokes, team support, happy tears when clients meet goals, and people who genuinely enjoy showing up for each other every day.
